Vaccinations

It’s better to prevent than to cure. Vaccinations are a plus!

When your cat comes to stay at Cats Only cat hotel, you have two options:

Vaccinate

Basic mandatory vaccinations

Feline panleucopenia < 3 years ago

Cat flu < 1 year ago

Titer

Basic mandatory vaccinations

Valid titer statement for both Feline panleucopenia as well as Cat flu.

What is important?

  • You will make sure that your cat gets the complete basic vaccinations at least once in its life – two vaccinations against feline panleucopenia and cat flu with three weeks in between – and keep having your cat vaccinated every three years against Feline panleucopenia.
  • You will have your cat vaccinated against cat flu at least once a year.
  • Both vaccinations can be, respectively, a maximum three or one years old on the day of departure from the hotel.
  • Both vaccinations must be administered a minimum of 21 days before arrival at the hotel, to guarantee proper immunity.

 OR

  • You will make sure that your cat gets the complete basic vaccinations at least once in its life and have a titer statement.

N.B.
The Bordetella vaccine is not mandatory in our hotel. Has this vaccine been administered to your cat? If it has been administered, keep in mind that this needs to be done at least 6 weeks before arrival in the hotel.

Before arrival at the hotel, you need to provide a copy of the vaccination papers of your cat. The copy needs to show the following information:

  • Client details
  • Cat details
  • Page(s) of the basic vaccinations
  • Page of the valid vaccinations of both the cat plague and flu.

In case of tittering, the page with current vaccinations becomes redundant. It can be replaced by a copy of the titer statement. It needs to show clearly that the titer is valid until the day of departure from the hotel.

You can find more about titer here.
